Volunteers needed for ATESL EDI/Anti-Racism Project
ATESL's EDI/Anti-Racism project, funded by Alberta's Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Grant, is currently developing a resource for CLB 3/4 classrooms that will address cross-cultural awareness, anti-racism and facilitate greater understanding of the challenges faced by racialized, Indigenous and 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals.
If you are interested in piloting the CLB 3/4 resources with your learners, and/or participating in a focus group to review the resource and give feedback, please fill out this form by November 15, and we will send you more information via email.
If you are going to attend the 2023 ATESL Conference, there is a presentation session “Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism: Resources for the LINC/EAL Classroom” on October 27 afternoon, during which more information about the resources will be shared.
Your participation in the pilot and/or focus group is invaluable and will go a long way in improving this work and supporting learners and instructors.
Thank you,
