June 13: Educational Equity: How Educators Can Promote it in Their Practice

Speaker: Lewie Moodley, Dean at Bredin College
Lewie Moodley was the ESL Coordinator at RDC Continued Education school. Now, he is the Dean of Student Services at Bredin College in Edmonton. He has been in academia for the past 7 years in various roles. He started off as a college instructor then became a Program Leader, Education Manager, Director and now Dean. He moved to Alberta in 2019 from Melbourne Australia to further his career in academics. He is passionate about learning and working in the post-secondary education sector. He is an advocate for educational equity, and his philosophy is that the lack of equity in education around the world is something we can all strive to reduce. He is currently pursuing his doctorate degree in Education at Aspen University.
