This partly online course, Essential English Language Skills (EELS), is designed by the School of Continuing Education at MacEwan University to provide intensive English training, focusing on reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills at a high beginnerlevel (CLB 4).

Monday & Tuesday in-person
Wednesday & Thursday online

Attendance is mandatory

REQUIREMENTS

• Age: 18+
• CUAET Visa holder
• Commitment to attend regularly
• English level: Minimum CLB 4 in all skill sets, with two areas allowed up to CLB 5
• Pass the interview at MacEwan University to qualify for the course

The course is designed and administered with the support from the Government of Alberta as part of the Ukrainian Evacuees Support Program (UESP).
