Join EAL instructor and author Mary Bertucci as she shares some ideas about how to weave Indigenous topics into different monthly themes. Participants will leave with many ideas about how they may incorporate Indigenous content throughout the teaching year. All are welcome!

Mary Bertucci's Bio:

Mary Bertucci (she/her/hers) is a LINC instructor, curriculum developer and the author of A Powwow Story. She has been teaching English for nearly two decades and loves to develop thoughtful, positive curriculum for beginner-level students. She is part of an Indigenous family and focuses on diversifying curriculum and incorporating Indigenous content into EAL. Mary lives and works on Coast Salish lands in Metro Vancouver.
